For too long we have been too complacent about the workings of Congress. Many citizens had no idea that Congress members could retire with the same pay after only one term, that they didn't pay into Social Security, that they

specifically exempted themselves from many of the laws they have passed (such as being exempt from any fear of prosecution for sexual harassment) while ordinary citizens must live under those laws.

The latest is to exempt themselves from the Healthcare Reform that is being considered.. .in all of its forms. Somehow, that doesn't seem logical. We must not have an elite class that is above the law. I truly don't care if they are Democrat, Republican, Independent or whatever.

The self-serving must stop.

"Congress shall make no law applying to the citizens of the United

States which does not apply equally to the Senators and/or Representatives;

And, Congress shall make no law which applies to the Senators and/or

Representatives that does not apply equally to the citizens of the United States.

This President, who chooses his friends and advisers poorly is about to tell us about the condition of the country. A consensus shows that Mr. Obama will focus on jobs - so as not to surprise the American Public. Smoke and Mirrors America.
With the ongoing buildup of voter anger about the enormous budget deficit, he is expected to announce a "freeze" in certain areas of DOMESTIC SPENDING! That's so as to use his very adept "slight-of-hand" and have you NOT FOCUS on his Foreign Policy Spending. After all, it is part of his job description to help"support the rest of the world" - isn't it? Maybe he thinks that he can sum up the past year by side stepping the issues. There is nothing he would like more than to have YOU believe that he can start this year off with a clean slate. Let's be sure not to have short memories and let this guy off the hook!

OBAMA HAS YET ANOTHER PLAN - GREEN JOBS

Obama and his Advisors sure know how to spin it! We now are going to have a "Green Job Plan". I'm not really sure what to make of it because his record between what he says and what he really does is not very good. The unemployment rate continues to rise. The Plan is to provide tax incentives to create 17,000 jobs to develop clean energy. Looks like another short sighted "Town Meeting" which demonstrates Obama's vast experience. The indicators show that more than 85,000 jobs were lost last month. Do the math - are you impressed?

Where's a "PRESIDENTIAL" Plan to create a few hundred thousand jobs to create a new American infrastructure???

The Economy Says Everybody Is In Great Shape And All Is Well

Am I missing something? The stock market keeps rising. To me that means that all the listed companies' stock is worth more, right? That in turn means that all these companies are doing well, right? So how do they do that if unemployment hovers around 10 percent? I guess all you people in the 90 percent group are doing SO WELL that you are buying more of the companies' products even without the 10 percent who are unemployed, right? So how does it work exactly? The real estate companies that build homes, even though their sales are down their stock prices rise? What's wrong with this picture? America I love you - BUT WAKE UP! Maybe when the FULL CONGRESS COMES BACK FROM THEIR CHRISTMAS BREAK they can figure this out. Oh wait, that would be the same Congress that would have us believe ALL IS WELL. I guess we're just in trouble and don't know it!

Obama Polls Hit New Low

The new Polls tell the story. Once again, the support for ObamaCare has fallen to a new low. There are many stories being printed today which try and interpret this statistical data but concisely put - We Don't Want It!!! Is that too hard to understand?   Only 48 percent of Democrats approve of how the Democrats in Congress are handling healthcare!  Mr. Obama - what does that tell you?

A current Poll on Gitmo clearly indicates that Americans say that we should KEEP IT OPEN!   This recent Poll (January 5 - 10) shows 55 percent in favor of leaving the prison open compared to the November 2009 Poll which had 50 percent in favor. Mr. Obama - what does that tell you?

Freedom of Speech - Should I Worry That This Anti-Obama Site Will Be Shut Down?

I just did some searching around the internet and found that many anti-Obama sites have been shut down! Wow - that really scares me! What if they shut down my site? What can and will I do? Can I go to some Democratic Organization and complain? Will anybody listen? Is there some "special" committee the President has set-up to deal with issues like this?

I'm just busting with rhetoric tonight. How frustrating it is to know that you can't "speak your mind" anymore - unless your speaking mind is in agreement with the current Authorities! Researching an article by doing all the necessary legwork required of good journalism is not enough today. We are living through times when our basic Civil Rights are being denied. If I dare to question the "mindless" intellectuals I can be "shut Off" - it's as simple as that. Whatever happened to the First Amendment?

Generally, foreign military and police organizations are restricted from operating in the United States without oversight by the CIA, FBI, Departments of Defense, State, Homeland Security or though some other arrangement that makes such operations subject to U. S. authority.

PUBLIX - Just What Were You Thinking?

Publix Supermarkets prints a calendar every year. This year something is VERY WRONG on the December 2010 page. When you get to December 7, 2010 what do you find? Do you see that it says "Pearl Harbor Day" as every GOOD AMERICAN calendar has always showed? NO!!! You see it say that its "Muslim New Year"!!! Publix - what are you thinking? I wonder who's responsible for this GROSS INSULT to all Publix's AMERICAN customers?

This is just another example of how America gets "given' away". Everyone that shops at Publix should feel an OBLIGATION, as an American, to go into your local Publix and tell the manager that unless these "insulting" calenders are removed and reprinted, you will shop at another supermarket! You do have choices. You cannot remain silent. If you do - it won't take long until every call you make will tell you to press one for ENGLISH!

Due to the current financial situation caused by the slowdown in the economy, Congress has decided to implement a scheme to put workers of 50 years of age and above on early retirement, thus creating jobs and reducing unemployment.

This scheme will be known as RAPE (Retire Aged People Early).

Persons selected to be RAPED can apply to Congress to be considered for the SHAFT program (Special Help After Forced Termination).

Persons who have been RAPED and SHAFTED will be reviewed under the SCREW program (System Covering Retired-Early Workers).

A person may be RAPED once, SHAFTED twice and SCREWED as many times as Congress deems appropriate.

Persons who have been RAPED could get AIDS (Additional Income for Dependants & Spouse) or HERPES (Half Earnings for Retired Personnel Early Severance).

Obviously persons who have AIDS or HERPES will not be SHAFTED or SCREWED any further by Congress.

Persons who are not RAPED and are staying on will receive as much SHIT (Special High Intensity Training) as possible. Congress has always prided themselves on the amount of SHIT they give our citizens.

Should you feel that you do not receive enough SHIT, please bring this to the attention of your Congressman, who has been trained to give you all the SHIT you can handle.

Daily Presidential Tracking Poll

THURSDAY, JANUARY 7, 2010

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Thursday shows that 27% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Thirty-nine percent (39%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -12 (see trends). Thirty-two percent (32%) now say the country is generally heading in the right direction.

Fifty-five percent (55%) of college football fans expect Alabama to win the BCS national championship game while 37% disagree and think Texas will win.

Just 32% of American voters are even somewhat confident that their representative in Congress is looking out for their best interests.

The Presidential Approval Index is calculated by subtracting the number who Strongly Disapprove from the number who Strongly Approve. It is updated daily at 9:30 a.m. Eastern (sign up for free daily e-mail update). Updates are also available on Twitter and Facebook.

Overall, 48% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President's performance. Fifty-two percent (52%) disapprove. To get a sense of longer-term trends, check out our month-by-month review of the President’s numbers.

In Arkansas, Senator Blanche Lincoln is still struggling and attracts just 38% or 39% of the vote against any Republican challengers mentioned.
