| 12/23/09 | US Voters Give Barack Obama An F The Telegraph (UK) says Barack Obama gave himself a B+ on Oprah Winfrey’s White House Christmas Special on ABC, but the American public is far less generous. The latest influential Rasmussen Daily Presidential Tracking Poll of likely US voters gives Obama a thumping 56 percent disapproval rating -- an F grade by any measure. 46 percent strongly disapprove of the president’s job performance, while just 25 percent strongly approve. That’s a Presidential Approval Index rating of -21 percentage points, a staggering figure for just 11 months into his term of office. These are historically low approval ratings for a US president, that concur with those released by several other pollsters, including NBC News/Wall Street Journal, who recently reported a 47 percent approval for Obama, and Quinnipiac and Marist, both at 46 percent. Obama's Latest Health Care Lie
That would be in remarks the president made yesterday:
The Congressional Budget Office now reports that this bill will reduce our deficit by $132 billion over the first decade, and by as much as $1.3 trillion in the decade after that. So I just want to be clear, for all those who are continually carping about how this is somehow a big spending government bill, this cuts our deficit by $132 billion the first 10 years, and by over a trillion in the second. That argument that opponents are making against this bill does not hold water.
There are actually multiple lies and deceptions in this paragraph, beginning with the verb "reports" to describe what the Congressional Budget Office does. The CBO, as Peter Suderman documented in hisfoundational Reason feature on the organization, does not "report," it "projects," in highly speculative fashion, what a proposed piece of legislation may cost. What's more, as Suderman detailed in a more recent piece that every American should read before listening to a word the president says, the CBO is bound in its "scoring" to take at face value what every living politician–Obama included–knows to be a stinking lie. That is, Congress' promises to make hundreds of billions of dollars worth of unspecified future spending "cuts." From the article:

Barack Obama is on track to have the most spectacularly failed presidency since Woodrow Wilson. In the modern era, we've seen
several failed presidencies--led by Jimmy Carter and LBJ. Failed presidents have one strong common trait-- they are repudiated, in the vernacular, spat out. Of course, LBJ wisely took the exit ramp early, avoiding a shove into oncoming traffic by his own party. Richard Nixon indeed resigned in disgrace, yet his reputation as a statesman has been partially restored by his triumphant overture to China 20.
But, Barack Obama is failing. Failing big. Failing fast. And failing everywhere: foreign policy, domestic initiatives, and most
importantly, in forging connections with the American people. The incomparable Dorothy Rabinowitz in the Wall Street Journal put her finger on it: He is failing because he has no understanding of the American people, and may indeed loathe them. Fred Barnes of the Weekly Standard says he is failing because he has lost control of his message, and is overexposed. Clarice Feldman of American Thinker produced a dispositive
commentary showing that Obama is failing because fundamentally he is neither smart nor articulate; his intellectual dishonesty is conspicuous by its audacity and lack of shame.
But, there is something more seriously wrong: How could a
new president riding in on a wave of unprecedented promise and goodwill have forfeited his tenure and become a lame duck in six months? His poll ratings are in free fall. In generic balloting, the Republicans have now seized a five point advantage. This truly is unbelievable. What's going on?
No narrative. Obama doesn't have a narrative. No, not a
narrative about himself. He has a self-narrative, much of it fabricated, cleverly disguised or written by someone else. But this self-narrative is isolated and doesn't connect with us. He doesn't have an American narrative that draws upon the rest of us. All successful presidents have a narrative about the American character that intersects with their own where they display a command of history and reveal an authenticity at the core of their
personality that resonates in a positive endearing way with the majority of Americans. We admire those presidents whose narratives not only touch our own, but who seem stronger, wiser, and smarter than we are. Presidents we admire are aspirational peers, even those whose politics don't align exactly with our own: Teddy Roosevelt, FDR, Harry Truman, Ike, and Reagan.
But not this president. It's not so much that he's a phony,
knows nothing about economics, and is historically illiterate and woefully small minded for the size of the task--all contributory of course. It's that he's not one of us. And whatever he is, his profile is fuzzy and devoid of content, like a cardboard cutout made from delaminated corrugated paper. Moreover, he doesn't command our respect and is unable to appeal to our own common sense. His notions of right and wrong are repugnant and how things work just don't add up. They are not existential. His descriptions of the world we live in don't make sense and don't correspond with our experience.
In the meantime, while we've been struggling to take a
measurement of this man, he's dissed just about every one of us--financiers,energy producers, banks, insurance executives, police officers, doctors, nurses, hospital administrators, post office workers, and anybody else who has a non-green job. Expect Obama to lament at his last press conference in 2012: "For those of you I offended, I apologize. For those of you who were not offended, you just didn't give me enough time; if only I'd had a second term, I could have offended you too."
Mercifully, the Founders at the Constitutional Convention in
1787 devised a useful remedy for such a desperate state-- staggered terms for both houses of the legislature and the executive. An equally abominable Congress can get voted out next year. With a new Congress, there's always hope of legislative gridlock until we vote for president again two short
years after that. Yes, small presidents do fail, Barack Obama among them. The coyotes howl but the wagon train keeps rolling along.

Britian Attacks Obama War Delay
Mr Ainsworth took the unprecedented step of publicly criticising the US President and his delays in sending more troops to bolster the mission against the Taliban.
A “period of hiatus” in Washington – and a lack of clear direction – had made it harder for ministers to persuade the British public to go on backing the Afghan mission in the face of a rising death toll, he said.
Senior British Government sources have become increasingly frustrated with Mr Obama’s “dithering” on Afghanistan, the Daily Telegraph disclosed earlier this month, with several former British defence chiefs echoing the concerns.
But Mr Ainsworth is the first Government minister to express in public what amounts to personal criticism of the US president’s leadership over the conflict which has so far cost 235 British lives. MORE.....

Dictators Are Becoming Obama's Best Friends - Libya Wants Him To Be President Forever
As a fellow traveler, Barack Obama, who has managed to impress the Bolivian dictator President as the Bolivian slammed capitalism at the UN in an interview, has also made his mark on Libya's dictator.
In a speech that made as much sense as many of Obama's, Qadaffi said in his meandering and disconnected hour and a half rant that Obama is "Our Son," and "His son." This raises the proverbial question, Does the fruit fall far from the tree?"
He apparently was unaware when he said that he wished that Obama could be President "forever" that unlike himself as the head of he Libyan government, and as much as Obama would like to be President of the world, and King for life here, Barack is term limited. At least for now.
He also called for a reopening of the investigation of the assassination of JFK, blaming the assassination on Israel. He also called the Security Council a "terrorist group." If anyone should know about terrorist groups, it is Qadaffi.
Qadaffi also wants the UN to move from the USA to somewhere that people wouldn't have to fly so far to go to. Many readers probably agree with that proposition and that an appropriate place for the UN would be in the Libyan desert.
Perhaps Obama will reciprocate the Lybian's admiration for him by allowing him to pitch his Bedouin tent on the White House lawn, next to the kid's swing set next year.

0bama and his administration have been caught in another huge lie and, this time, it's a doozey! Remarkably, one of 0bama's own state-run media ABC News broke the story. For months now, 0bama and his various administration mouthpieces have been extolling the virtues of the dictator-in-chief's "creation" of millions of new jobs! With millions of verifiable jobs having been lost since 0bama usurped the position of POTUS and hundreds of thousands more still being lost each and every month, anyone who still maintains the ability to think knows this was a lie. And now another immense 0bamaLie has been exposed.
ABC News followed up on the 0bama Administration's claims (on its recovery.gov website) — which included amounts spent, jobs "created or saved" and the Congressional districts which 'dear leader' had 'positively impacted.' One of the immediate problems is that the Congressional districts which had ostensibly received the 0bamaMoney (where the ObamaJobs had been created) did not and do not exist! For example, just a few of these reported by ABC include:
"In Oklahoma, recovery.gov lists more than $19 million in spending — and 15 jobs created — in yet more congressional districts that don't exist.
"In Iowa, it shows $10.6 million spent — and 39 jobs created — in nonexistent districts
"In Connecticut's 42nd district (which also does not exist), the Web site claims 25 jobs created with zero stimulus dollars"
The 0bamaSite lists other states in which 0bama has listed other bogus districts and other bogus jobs he claims to have "saved or created"
And in US territories from Puerto Rico through the US Virgin Island to the Northern Mariana Islands, 0bama claims to have given over $100 Millions and created many jobs. The problem is that all of these claims are bogus. They are outright lies and this is abject theft by government officials of OUR money. And what does 0bama and Co do when confronted with the truth? They simply make up more lies to cover their other lies
Where have the $787 Billions in "stimulus" monies gone? We may want to check 0bama's and his friends' multiple bank accounts. These are no more than very powerful crooks, folks. This is betrayal of the American people and America, itself.
0bama has also told his 0bamaRun EPA to threaten those who oppose his Cap and Tax bill with "disciplinary actions" if they tell the public the truth as they know it. EPA attorneys Laurie Williams and Allan Zabel were threatened with such disciplinary actions if they did not either change a video opposing 0bama's Cap and Tax or remove it altogether. Note: Where 0bama rules, there is no longer free speech. This is betrayal of American citizens and the First Amendment of the US Constitution's Bill of Rights.
0bama has ordered the mastermind of 9/11 and about a dozen of his cohorts to be tried in New York City; where the 9/11 massacre occurred. These beasts are to be given full US Constitutional rights — I suspect even more rights than those of US Citizens — and the US government will, ultimately and by 0bamaDesign, be placed on trial; not the terrorists. And now, to rub more salt and gasoline into a festering and painful wound, the Muslim 0bama is telling Congress not to investigate the terrorist massacre committed by Muslim Nidal Malik Mohammed against soldiers at Fort Hood. Note: 0bama still refuses to call this a terrorist act. By his refusal to protect the USA and its people from its enemies, 0bama has abrogated his contract as POTUS and is, for all intents and purposes, siding with said enemies. He has become this country's greatest enemy to date. This is betrayal — of and in the highest order — of the USA and its people.
0bama has repeatedly stated that with or without the American people's agreement he WILL pass 0bamaCare so that his government's control of them and their assets (that's We-the-People and our assets) will be under the dictator's control and belong to him. He has also vowed to give ALL illegals in the country amnesty in 2010, so that his illegal-soon-to-be-legal-if-0bama-has-his-way voter base can replace the legal one that is now opposed to both him and his policies. He does not intend to ever give up his position. That is, until he's named ruler of the world. This is so far beyond betrayal that there may not currently be a term for it.

The internet is on fire with mass amounts of articles, videos, blogs, photographs, and commentary that expose a very different version of Barack Obama than that which is mysteriously depicted in MSM on a continual basis. This contrast is forcing many Americans to ask: Who Is Barack Obama? MSM: We demand Barack Obama be vetted. Vetting a potential American president to inform voters is ethical journalism's responsibility---it is your role, and this trust between the News and the People has been betrayed.

Established Obama dissent blogs are being hacked, and information is being destroyed. It has been rumored that bloggers, commentators, and pretty much anyone who attempt to question Barack Obama, including journalists, is immediately threatened or warned in some fashion. Actually, there are even stories of super delegates and caucus goers being threatened if they do not go for Barack Obama. Furthermore, anytime anyone questions Barack Obama and his associates, his affiliations, his judgment, or his entire HISTORY, someone jumps out and screams: McCarthyism! or Lies! or Racism! or Negativity! or it's a "distraction." It is all a scheme toward censorship and oppression. That needs to stop. Right now. This is America and Americans have every right to know who their potential American President is. There are plenty of YouTube videos made by Americans sharing this precise sentiment, and it deserves notice. Ignoring it is making it worse.
Also of note: there has been extensive web scrubbing and mysterious disappearances of posts, blogs, and articles concerning Barack Obama and his ties. Established Obama dissent blogs are being hacked, and information is being destroyed. It has been rumored that bloggers, commentators, and pretty much anyone who attempt to question Barack Obama, including journalists, is immediately threatened or warned in some fashion. Actually, there are even stories of super delegates and caucus goers being threatened if they do not go for Barack Obama. Furthermore, anytime anyone questions Barack Obama and his associates, his affiliations, his judgment, or his entire HISTORY, someone jumps out and screams: McCarthyism! or Lies! or Racism! or Negativity! or it's a "distraction." It is all a scheme toward censorship and oppression. That needs to stop. Right now. This is America and Americans have every right to know who their potential American President is. How dare anyone think otherwise? In light of this, copy and save the body of this article for future reference in case this article disappears from the internet.
